The Stryker X6000 220-185-000 Endoscope Light Source is designed to work with Stryker Endoscopic Imaging Systems, providing illumination to surgical sites. It can meet the demands of progressive scan technology, producing high definition images critically needed by surgeons during delicate procedures. With the use of proper light cable and adapters, it can connect to any flexible or rigid endoscope.

It uses two modes when it is turned on - the Activate, and the Standby modes. Activate mode is used on regular operation, and its light output can be adjusted by controls on the LCD display. When it is powered on but not in use, it switches to Standby. Its light output is at minimum in this mode, effectively decreasing the heat at the tip of the light cable or scope. It also comes with Electronic Scope Sensing Technology (ESST), a special safety feature. When the light cable and the scope is disconnected, the Standby mode is turned on. This prevents accidental fires or burns caused by an unattended light cable.
