The Zimmer ATS 750 Tourniquet Machine is a single-port automatic tourniquet system that provides consistent and accurate performance during delicate surgical procedures. It is equipped with microprocessor controls which provide speed and accuracy when making automatic adjustments. One of its safety features is its self-check on its calibration each time the unit powers on. This ensures its precision and consistency in every surgical procedure. It also has built-in visual and audible alarms which activates when the machine detects an unsafe condition. For example, it will issue a warning when it detects a substantial leak occurring for more than 7 seconds. In addition, it is equipped with a 30-minute battery back-up power to ensure continuous performance even if the AC power goes out.
